Sewer Lines

Good news for us.....we found out that the house is connected to the city of Loxley sewer so when we do our plumbing we can get right in there and replace old pipes to start using the water right away. All we need to do is pay for the impact fee since the building has been empty for the last 25 years.... Impact fees are calculated by how many sinks, toilets and bathtubs we will have which will impact the water line system. Plus an approximate calculation of people using the facility. We should be updating 6 bathrooms, 2 laundry rooms and a kitchen sink!!!

First Step........

The foundation to a building is one of the most important so we are hiring a professional to help us level the foundation to our building. The are some rough spots there but with the knowledge of a good foundation man, we will be on our way in no time.

Getting right to it....

Two fold mission for this blog:

I wanted to create this blog for all to see the progress we make of the renovation of The Old Loxley Hotel and

To get the word out there that we need help!!! Not so much on the physical remodeling of this building but in finding investors to contribute while we are applying for grant money.

We are applying for the non-profit status as we are promoting and preserving the history of the building and area.

Many people are excited about this idea----we just need to get the ball rolling on funds.
